Trucks and Fins is a huge present to the whole skate community - not just for the skating people, but also for shops, builders and schools. Super easy to use and can't believe how complete it is.

The Jon Comer Memorial Skatepark (formerly known as "The Boneyard") is a landmark 46,500-square-foot facility located at Rick Oden Park in Garland, Texas. As the second-largest skatepark in Texas and the sixth-largest in the United States, it serves as a massive regional destination for action sports. This world-class park was designed and built by the partnership of New Line Skateparks and SPA Skateparks. The project was the result of nearly two decades of local advocacy, eventually receiving a viral push from skateboarding legend Tony Hawk to rename the facility in honor of Jon Comer—a Garland native and the first professional skateboarder to compete with a prosthetic limb.
The park’s design is a thoughtful tribute to Comer’s legacy of inclusivity, featuring three distinct terrain zones that cater to all ages and abilities. It boasts a massive street plaza filled with technical rails, ledges, and stairs, alongside a sprawling transition area featuring multiple bowls and flow sections. Notably, the park includes a dedicated beginner’s area—the first of its kind in a Texas public skatepark—designed to provide a safe space for new riders to build confidence.Strategically placed shade structures, a comprehensive lighting system for night sessions, and an adjacent food truck court ensure the park is a comfortable, high-energy community hub. By blending top-tier performance terrain with a focus on adaptive accessibility, the Jon Comer Memorial Skatepark stands as a premier example of modern skatepark design and a lasting monument to a hometown hero.
