The Skatepark di Fiorano al Serio, located in the San Fermo area, was completed in September 2023. This facility was developed in response to local youth's longstanding requests for a dedicated skateboarding space. The project, with an estimated cost of €130,000 plus VAT, was designed to cater to both beginners and advanced skaters, offering a progressive training environment.
In October 2024, the skatepark hosted an innovative program combining skateboarding lessons with English language instruction. Organized by the cultural association English Valseriana, the initiative aimed to teach English through practical activities, leveraging the skatepark as an educational setting. This approach provided participants with an engaging way to learn the language while practicing skateboarding. The skatepark was built by Samurai skateparks and was designed by Slab Studio.
