Eras de Renueva Skatepark is a modern concrete skatepark in Parque Santos Ovejero, in the Eras de Renueva neighbourhood of León. The park was designed and built by SpokoRamps, with the design developed in consultation with local skaters. SpokoRamps dates the completed project to August 2024.
The park is divided into two main sections. The transition area features a two-depth bowl with an elevated extension, curved entrance, inclined wall and several retraced sections, creating different lines and opportunities to generate speed. The street section includes low rails and ledges of different heights, together with platforms at each end featuring launch and landing ramps.
The project was commissioned by León City Council to provide a permanent concrete facility for skateboarders, BMX riders, inline skaters and scooter riders of different abilities. It forms part of a wider wheeled-sports area in Santos Ovejero Park, alongside a separate modular pumptrack. The skatepark project was awarded in 2023 for approximately €141,699, with construction planned for three months.
