Epsom Skatepark is an advanced concrete park at Epsom Village Green, featuring a spread-out layout with long lines, slappy kerbs, banks, hips, transition, a volcano, curved walls and a car-stopper kerb. The park offers a good mix of street and transition skating, with larger quarters and an extension ramp at one end. It sits next to a local playspace and the Epsom shopping precinct, with picnic areas and water available nearby.
The skatepark was designed through a collaboration between EastbyWest and Baseplate and constructed by Drover Projects. Baseplate's project archive confirms both the design and construction credits. The park was completed in 2020 as part of the development of Epsom Village Green.
After skating, you can explore the shops and cafés around Epsom Village, or head into Bendigo to visit the historic Central Deborah Gold Mine and explore the city's heritage centre.
