ABOUT SKATEPARK

Daylesford skatepark

Daylesford Skatepark is a compact concrete and steel park at Daylesford Community Park on Stanbridge Street. The layout combines a flowing bowl with a street section featuring quarters, a half-volcano, funbox, ledges, ramps, a grind bar and a larger quarterpipe. The surrounding community park also includes a basketball half-court, playground, community garden, toilets, drinking water and shaded seating.

The skatepark was designed by Baseplate and Convic and constructed by GrindProjects. Baseplate lists the project at 45 Stanbridge Street, confirming the design and construction credits. The original Daylesford Skate Park dates back to around 2000, with the current facility developed through a later community-led upgrade.

After skating, you can soak in Daylesford's famous mineral springs, or explore Wombat Hill Botanic Gardens and its walking trails.
