Following community requests stretching back to 2016, VelosolutionsUK were commissioned by Crowborough Town Council to design and build a pump track in Goldsmiths Park, situated alongside the leisure centre and play park.
The 70m track was designed primarily for children up to 10 years old and beginner riders, with smaller, rollable, and pumpable features that encourage skill development at a comfortable pace — while remaining genuinely enjoyable for intermediate riders looking to progress. Enclosed by bow-top fencing, the track provides a safe and defined space for newer riders to build confidence.
The finished facility quickly found an audience beyond its intended users. Skateboarders took to the track too, finding the smaller features well-suited to experimenting with tricks — a testament to the versatility of the design. The opening was marked with a community celebration supported by VelosolutionsUK, drawing riders of all ages and abilities and reflecting the broad appeal the project had set out to achieve. The track opened on 10 February 2023.
