Trucks and Fins is a huge present to the whole skate community - not just for the skating people, but also for shops, builders and schools. Super easy to use and can't believe how complete it is.

The Creston Skatepark, located at 308 20th Avenue North in Creston, British Columbia, is a 10,000-square-foot facility that serves as a premier destination for the Kootenay region. This project was designed by New Line Skateparks and constructed by Transition Construction, officially opening in 2019. The facility was developed as a key component of a larger $3.1 million redevelopment of the Creston & District Community Complex grounds.
The design is a high-performance "flow-plaza" that masterfully integrates with its rustic, hillside surroundings. The centerpiece is a large, beautifully finished flow bowl that is widely considered one of the best in the region. This transition zone feeds into a long, technical street section that features a rideable back wall—a unique architectural touch that expands the park's flow. Obstacles include granite-capped hubba ledges, flat rails, manual pads, and a signature "A-frame" pyramid, all arranged to allow for long, uninterrupted lines.
As the specialized build partner, Transition Construction applied their expertise in high-velocity shotcrete and hand-troweled finishes to ensure a fast, quiet, and durable surface. Their precision is particularly visible in the smooth bowl transitions and the "breathtaking" finishing details that stay true to the original design integrity. The park is fully integrated into the Community Complex, which includes an aquatic center, sports fields, and walking trails, making it a central social hub for the Creston Valley.
