Comines Skatepark is a new modular skatepark on Rue de la Blanche Bannière in Comines, northern France. The project was commissioned by the Ville de Comines as part of the redevelopment of the Blanche Bannière leisure area. Municipal documents show that the project was approved and funded in 2022, with a total operation cost of approximately €132,770 excluding tax.
The skatepark was designed and built by TRBA SAS, with the design developed from a concept created with local skaters. Three participatory meetings involving the city services and young people helped shape the final layout. TRBA handed over the completed park in late October 2022, after approximately one month of construction.
The park contains around ten modular elements, including a Waterfall, Bank to Bank, Speed Bump, China Bank, Quarter Pipe and Fun Box. The metal structures were fabricated by TRBA in its own workshops.
