The Boston Skatepark, located inside Central Park at 8 Thorold Street in Boston, Lincolnshire (PE21 6PH), United Kingdom, is a modern outdoor concrete facility designed to replace the town's aging metal ramp infrastructure. The drive for the new park was spearheaded by the Boston Borough Council alongside the Boston Big Local community partnership, which secured crucial funding to revitalize the park's youth sports zone. Following a thorough community consultation phase to refine the layout, the city contracted the premier British skatepark design and build specialists, Maverick Skateparks. Construction finalized in the autumn of 2021, and the park officially opened to the public in October 2021.
The skatepark is completely public, free to enter, and welcoming to multiple disciplines including skateboards, BMX freestyle bikes, scooters, and inline skates. Situated directly within the larger Central Park grounds, the facility offers immediate access to community amenities such as public restrooms, shaded seating areas, multi-use sports courts, and a large public parking lot off Thorold Street.
