The Centennial Park Skatepark in Salida, Colorado, is a 14,000-square-foot facility that opened in 2021. The project was made possible through significant community support, led by the Friends of Salida Skateparks (FOSS), and funding from a $350,000 Great Outdoors Colorado (GOCO) grant and a $10,000 contribution from The Skatepark Project (formerly the Tony Hawk Foundation).
The park features a large bowl, smaller flow bowl, and various street elements like rails, ledges, and quarter-pipes, offering skaters of all levels a variety of terrain to enjoy. It's open daily, free to the public, and located in Centennial Park near Highway 50.
In addition to being a popular local spot, the park hosts events like the Heart of the Rockies Rampage, a skateboarding competition that brings in top talent and is part of Salida's FIBArk Festival.
