Located beside the Praça de Touros in the centre of Cartaxo, this compact modular skatepark was requalified in 2021, when the municipality invested €10,000 to return the facility to use after several years without equipment. The intervention introduced two large quarter pipes, a flat rail, curb and pyramid, creating a simple back-and-forth layout for skateboarding, BMX and inline skating.
The park subsequently received another round of improvements in 2024, with new obstacles added as part of its renovation and rehabilitation. The work was celebrated with the Cartaxo Skate Fest, organised by APARK in November 2024.
The current park is a compact wooden setup on a concrete surface, with a straightforward combination of transition and street obstacles. Its location next to the central garden and bullring places it right in the heart of Cartaxo, making it an accessible local spot for riders of different levels.
Municipal records from 2024 describe the skatepark as having been renovated and rehabilitated, while older municipal records show that the facility had deteriorated significantly before the 2021 intervention.
