The Caluire-et-Cuire Skatepark is a major new concrete skatepark on the banks of the Rhône, at Parc des Berges du Rhône near the Passerelle de la Paix. Covering approximately 2,300 m², it is divided into two main areas: a street section aimed at beginners and intermediate riders, and a large bowl section designed for more advanced riding and competition.
The project was commissioned and funded by the City of Caluire-et-Cuire, with Slappy Agency providing assistance to the project owner. The skatepark was designed by Constructo Skatepark. Construction was carried out by Vulcano Skateparks and RGTP, with Cemex supplying the ready-mixed concrete.
Construction began in June 2024, with the facility completed in early 2025. The city held the opening event during the regional skateboard championship on 18–20 April 2025, with the official opening taking place on 19 April 2025.
