The Busswil School Skatepark (Skatepark Schule Busswil) is located at the Primary School in Busswil, 3292 Busswil (Lyss), Canton of Bern (BE), Switzerland. Initiated to replace an aging park with severe safety hazards and structural defects, the project was developed through a workshop involving the RJEKA Youth Services and the school. It was commissioned by the Municipality of Busswil/Lyss (Gemeinde Busswil/Lyss, Maître d'ouvrage) and constructed in 2023by Emotional Skateparks GmbH.
Built over a 3-week execution period for CHF 50,000, the 270 sq m cast-in-place concrete facility was specifically engineered to maximize the tight space in front of the school building. The layout's centerpiece is a 90 cm high mini ramp, which connects to a long bank on one side and a large tabletop feature on the other, allowing the ramp to double as a jump ramp for multi-directional flow.
