Built and designed by Francisco Lopez / Skatelopez in 2025, Benfica Skatepark is a compact concrete street-focused facility beneath the viaduct in the Calhariz de Benfica area of Lisbon. The park was selected through the 2023 Orçamento Participativo Jovem and transformed a previously underused space into a dedicated action-sports facility.
The layout combines stairs, ledges, banks, manual pads, flat rails, handrails and a quarter pipe, creating a mixture of technical street obstacles and transition. The project was deliberately designed to accommodate different levels, from more accessible features to more demanding lines. Construction began in early 2025, with the project carrying an investment of approximately €100,000.
