Built by ProRide in 2021, Benedita Pumptrack is an asphalt track located within the Parque Desportivo e Motorizado da Benedita, in the municipality of Alcobaça. ProRide developed the project and completed construction in approximately one month, creating a dedicated facility for BMX, mountain bikes, skateboards and other wheeled sports.
The pumptrack forms part of a larger action-sports complex that also includes motorcycle and bicycle dirt tracks, making Benedita an important destination for two-wheeled sports in the region. The flowing asphalt layout uses rollers, berms and rhythm sections designed to generate speed through pumping rather than pedalling.
The quality of the track has also made it suitable for competition. In 2024, Benedita hosted the Portuguese National Pump Track Championships, with the event taking place on the track at the Parque Desportivo e Motorizado.
