The Arenas de San Pedro Pumptrack is located at Avenida de la Constitución, 05400 Arenas de San Pedro, Ávila, Spain (situated in the El Berrocal pine forest sports complex). Commissioned by the Ayuntamiento de Arenas de San Pedro (Maître d'ouvrage) to expand local outdoor sports facilities, the asphalted track was designed and built in 2024 by specialist firm Overlay Projects.
Rising dramatically in the center of town, the Castillo del Condestable Dávalos (also known as the Castillo de la Triste Condesa) is a remarkably preserved 14th-century stone fortress with a towering keep framing views of the surrounding Gredos mountain range.
Set at the foot of the Sierra de Gredos, Arenas de San Pedro serves as a major gateway for outdoor adventure, offering immediate access to the crystal-clear natural swimming pools (piscinas naturales) along the Pelayo River, mountain biking trails, and scenic drives up toward the mountain passes.
