Built by A|Park (the former Academia dos Patins) in 2024, Aldeia de Juso Skatepark is a compact skatelite mini half-pipelocated within the Pinhal de Aldeia de Juso in Cascais. The ramp was installed as part of a Cascais Jovem initiative aimed at bringing skateboarding and other wheeled sports facilities closer to young people in neighbourhoods across the municipality.
The project was developed in partnership with the Associação Juvenil Academia dos Patins, whose specialist technicians were also involved in the wider skatepark work in Cascais. The facility is specifically intended for skateboarding, inline, BMX and freestyle scootering, with its smaller dimensions making it particularly suitable for beginners.
The miniramp sits within the larger Pinhal de Aldeia de Juso, a nearly two-hectare recreational space containing children's areas, fitness equipment, a climbing wall, cycling facilities and other outdoor activities.
