Alcalá is one of the population centers within the municipality of Guía de Isora, in the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. The town is located in a small coastal cove, around 12 km from the municipal center.
The skatepark is located in a sports area next to the La Jaquita Gabriel Esacrrer seaside promenade, in a privileged beachfront setting with open views of the Atlantic Ocean and the island of La Gomera.
The spot has long been a local skate hub, previously featuring a wooden skate ramp maintained by the local skate community. In 2025, a new concrete skatepark was built next to the original ramp, expanding the skate offering in the area.
The skatepark was designed by Daniel Yábar and includes a bowl section and a street section, creating a versatile space suitable for different skate styles and skill levels. Its seaside location and durable concrete design make it a unique skate spot on the south coast of Tenerife.
