Zamora Skatepark, also known as Skatepark de La Aldehuela, is a modern concrete flow-style skatepark beside the Duero River in Zamora. The current park replaced the city's old modular skatepark, which had been in place for more than 30 years and was made up of prefabricated metal ramps. The new facility was designed to provide a more durable and versatile space capable of hosting major skateboarding and BMX events.
The park has an organic, flowing design inspired by the course of the Duero River, with curved concrete transitions and interconnected sections. The layout combines street and transition elements, allowing riders to travel through the park in multiple directions. The design incorporates banks, ledges, platforms, rails, transitions and other obstacles, creating lines suitable for different levels of riding.
The redevelopment began in 2023, with the old metal ramps removed and construction of the new concrete facility carried out by Roig i Fills Associats. SpokoRamps was responsible for the skatepark design, with the project completed in January 2024. The new park opened before all surrounding works had been fully completed and was subsequently established as one of the main skateboarding facilities in Castilla y León.
The project represented an investment of approximately €477,000 and was developed with input from local skateboarding and BMX communities. The municipality intended the new facility to be suitable for regional, national and potentially international competitions.
