Woodward Tahoe's action sports training facility. The skate bowl, often referred to as the "Evergreen Bowl," is a three-pocket combo bowl with smooth walls and an 8-foot-deep pocket. This outdoor bowl, along with an expansive 33,000-square-foot indoor facility called "The Bunker," provides year-round training options for skateboarders, BMX riders, and other athletes.
The entire facility was designed to serve as a premier training ground, attracting top athletes from multiple sports. Nate Wessel, a renowned skatepark builder, played a key role in designing the indoor portions of the facility. The Woodward Tahoe project was part of the broader Camp Woodward initiative, funded by Powdr Corp., to develop high-quality action sports facilities across the U.S.
