Verdal Skatepark is a compact street plaza-style concrete skatepark in central Verdal, located on Jernbanegata near Jernbaneparken and the railway station. The park was designed and built by Betongpark, providing the local community with a dedicated space for skateboarding, BMX and scootering.
The layout has a strong street-skating character, with banks, gaps, ledges, benches, flatbars, a handrail and an A-frame featuring both a rail and ledge. The relatively compact footprint is efficiently arranged to create multiple lines and combinations between the different obstacles.
Its central location places the skatepark close to the railway station, shopping centre and other public spaces, making it an accessible meeting point for young people and the wider community. The facility is freely accessible and forms part of Verdal's wider network of public recreational spaces.
