Though compact at 400 m², this project holds a special place in our history as the very first skatepark both designed and built entirely by Bonidee Skateparks. The journey began with the first sketches in early 2024, followed by ground-breaking that same winter, and a grand opening in the spring of 2025.
Working with a limited footprint forced us to get creative. We designed a multifunctional central obstacle that bridges the gap between the skatepark and the adjacent basketball court—allowing for a seamless flow where every inch is rideable. The centerpiece is a concrete homage to the legendary Con Edison Banks in New York City, brought to life using advanced concrete techniques that we are incredibly proud of.
Is it a skatepark or a raw street spot? That’s for you to decide. This plaza was built by skaters, for skaters, with a deep respect for the spots that inspired us.
