The Umea Skateboard Park, located in Umeå, Sweden, is a massive 22,000-square-foot facility set within a stunning riverside environment. This project represents a major international collaboration, as it was designed by New Line Skateparks in partnership with the construction firm NCC.
The park offers an incredibly diverse array of terrain, including an expansive urban plaza, a modern bowl unit, and a unique "under-viaduct" mini-ramp complex that provides sheltered riding space. To meet the community's high expectations while navigating stringent engineering and budget requirements, the team utilized advanced value engineering and state-of-the-art construction materials and techniques. The result is a world-class destination that stands as a premier stop for action sports enthusiasts in the Nordic region.
