ABOUT SKATEPARK

Tinnell Memorial skatepark

Tinnel Memorial skatepark is a concrete skatepark featuring one small bowl, a large bowl with cradle and an enormous street area. This is Arizona’s largest skate park at 40,000 square feet. The sports park is dedicated to the sacrifice made by fallen soldier and bmx rider Patrick Tinnell, along with Colin Sasseen who lost his life skating in his front yard. In honor of Patrick they built a custom cradle in the shape of his army helmet and for Colin they did a large stained concrete “C” at the bottom of the stair set. This park is definitely a bucket list spot both for street and transition skaters. The park was built Californiaskateparks. The SkateparkProject helped fund this skatepark.
