Texas City skatepark

The Texas City Skatepark, located within the vibrant Nessler Park at Girl Scout Lane and Phoenix Lane in Texas City, is a premier 8,000-square-foot street plaza designed to reflect the city’s industrial identity. The facility was designed and built by SPA Skateparks in partnership with New Line Skateparks, with the grand opening held in October 2013.

The park is widely recognized for its "L-shaped" layout, a design choice dictated by the preservation of several large, mature oak trees that now provide essential natural shade for riders. A standout feature of the park is its "Rudder" and "Wing" transition elements—two outwardly facing suspended concrete wings that serve as a thematic nod to the propeller blades of oil ships, honoring Texas City’s deep roots in the refining and shipping industries.

Trucks and Fins is a huge present to the whole skate community - not just for the skating people, but also for shops, builders and schools. Super easy to use and can't believe how complete it is.
