Trucks and Fins is a huge present to the whole skate community - not just for the skating people, but also for shops, builders and schools. Super easy to use and can't believe how complete it is.

The Växjö Skatepark, located at the intersection of Ringsbergvägen and Liedbergsgatan in Sweden, is a 10,000-square-foot facility that marked a significant milestone as the third New Line Skateparks project in the country. Originally initiated as a redesign in the spring of 2009, the project was fast-tracked and fully completed by September of that same year. This efficient turnaround was made possible through a high-level partnership between the New Line design team and NCC Construction Sweden, ensuring the park met both international design standards and local Swedish building requirements.
The park’s design is celebrated for its "multi-modal" layout, which intelligently partitions the site into distinct zones while maintaining a cohesive flow. It features a sophisticated mix of street, transition, and bowl terrain, offering riders an expansive variety of lines. The street section utilizes urban-inspired obstacles such as ledges, rails, and banks, while the transition area provides rhythmic quarter pipes and hips. The centerpiece is the integrated bowl unit, which was engineered to provide enough verticality for advanced riders while remaining accessible for those transitioning from flat-ground skating.
Constructed with high-durability concrete to withstand the Scandinavian freeze-thaw cycles, the Växjö Skatepark serves as a primary social and athletic hub for the region's youth. The design prioritizes sightlines and open space, allowing for easy spectating and a safe environment for multiple users. By blending technical street features with classic transition elements, the facility successfully caters to the diverse styles of the Swedish skate community, cementing its status as a premier destination in the Småland province.
