Located inside the Parque Urbano das Nogueiras, this compact concrete flowpark is one of the more distinctive modern skateparks in central Portugal. Rather than following a conventional street-skatepark formula, the layout focuses on flow, transitions and continuous lines, with a bowl and snakerun-style sections creating a smooth circuit for riders.
The skatepark was built by Wasteland Skateparks in 2020 as part of the development of the Parque Urbano das Nogueiras. The approximately four-hectare park also includes a children's playground, six-lane minigolf course, arborism circuit, outdoor fitness equipment, pedestrian routes and other recreational facilities.
The Parque Urbano das Nogueiras was officially inaugurated on 31 July 2020, with the skatepark forming one of the central recreational attractions of the new park.
The result is a small but particularly enjoyable park for cruising and learning. Its flowing design makes it possible to connect the different transitions rather than simply skating individual obstacles, giving the park a very different character from the more rigid modular skateparks found in many smaller Portuguese towns.
