Salou Skatepark is a large concrete skatepark in Parc de Manuel Albinyana, located between Carrer de Tarragona and Carrer de Pere Galés in Salou, Tarragona. The current park was designed and built by SpokoRamps and was completed in March 2023. It replaced and significantly expanded an older modular skatepark that SpokoRamps had previously remodelled in 2011.
The redesigned facility covers approximately 1,704 m² and features 18 new elements constructed using concrete and steel. The layout includes a large bowl, quarters, banks, a duna, volcano, funboxes, pyramids and rails, with a mixture of smaller obstacles for beginners and more demanding features for experienced riders.
The new skatepark officially opened on 18 March 2023 with the first Salou BMX, Scooter and Skate Championship, attracting almost 200 young riders. The redevelopment was driven partly by requests from local young people and skaters, with the municipality consulting users about the improvements needed at the existing facility.
The project represents a major transformation of the original skatepark, turning the former modular facility into a much larger permanent concrete park while retaining the site's established role as a local wheeled-sports meeting point.
