Trucks and Fins is a huge present to the whole skate community - not just for the skating people, but also for shops, builders and schools. Super easy to use and can't believe how complete it is.

The Port Orchard Skatepark, located within South Kitsap Regional Park in Washington, is a 10,000-square-foot facility that serves as a high-velocity destination for the Pacific Northwest. While New Line Skateparks provided the initial conceptual design work, the park’s construction and final "skater-centric" refinement were executed by the legendary Dreamland Skateparks. Opened in 2013 after years of dedicated fundraising by the South Kitsap Skatepark Association (SK8SA), the park successfully replaced an outdated modular setup with a permanent, world-class concrete landscape.
The facility is a masterclass in "Northwest Style" transition design, heavily influenced by Dreamland's signature sculptural approach. The centerpiece is a massive, multi-depth flow bowl featuring authentic pool coping, vertical extensions, and tight "pocket" transitions that allow for high-speed carving. This transition zone is seamlessly integrated with a modern street plaza that offers granite-capped hubba ledges, flat rails, and various stair sets. The layout is engineered for "infinite flow," where the transitions act as return walls, allowing riders to maintain momentum across the entire park without needing to push.
Constructed to thrive in the damp Washington climate, the park features specialized shotcrete work and a robust drainage system. The design respects the surrounding evergreen forest, utilizing the natural topography to create a tiered layout that provides clear sightlines for both riders and spectators. Today, the Port Orchard Skatepark is celebrated as one of the premier facilities on the Kitsap Peninsula, recognized for its aggressive transition lines, high-end craftsmanship, and its role as a vibrant community hub for skateboarders and BMX riders alike.
