Located at Rue des Ursulines 27 (Place de la Chapelle) in 1000 Brussels, Belgium, the Ursulines Skatepark (Skatepark des Ursulines) is a massive 4,000-square-meter urban street plaza delivered in 2006 with a project budget of €800,000. The park was designed and constructed through a collaborative group comprising Antidote Skateparks, L'Escaut Architecture, Collectif Brusk ASBL, and Doctor Skateparks, commissioned by Bruxelles Environnement.
Designed as a pioneer project for integrated urban street plazas in Europe, the expansive facility combines a central bowl section with extensive granite and concrete street elements. Seamlessly integrated into the historic city center near the Église Notre-Dame de la Chapelle, it serves as a major destination for skateboarders, BMX riders, rollerbladers, and scooter users.
