The Blackfalds Optimist Skatepark (also referred to as the Blackfalds Youth Park) is a signature action sports destination in Central Alberta. Completed in 2016, this project was designed and constructed by New Line Skateparks following a dedicated local fundraising effort.
The facility features approximately 8,500 square feet of high-performance terrain, including a technical street section and a flowing, snake-like bowl that has become a major draw for riders across Western Canada. The park is aesthetically unique, featuring alternating colors of concrete and the stamped logo of its major contributor, the local Optimist Club. Integrated into the community's broader recreational landscape, the site is connected to nearby amenities by a network of walking and bike paths, making it a cohesive hub for both athletes and spectators.
