Noble Park Skatepark is a large concrete skatepark at Ross Reserve in Noble Park, southeast Melbourne. The park is built around three distinct zones: a street plaza, a flowing snake run and a deep 11-foot vertical bowl. The street section includes ledges, rails, banks and other obstacles, while the bowl provides serious transition skating and reaches more than three metres deep. The combination makes the park suitable for different levels, although the large bowl is aimed firmly at experienced riders.
The skatepark opened in 2015 after an investment of more than AUD $1 million. It was designed by local professional skater Jon McGrath, who brought in Darren White of Baseplate to help develop and refine the final design. The project was built as part of the Ross Reserve youth precinct and quickly became one of Melbourne's standout skate facilities.
After skating, you can cool off at the nearby Noble Park Aquatic Centre, or head into Dandenong to explore its famous market and multicultural food scene.
