The Mitchell Skatepark is located at 115 Elm St, Mitchell, MB R5G 1J3, Canada. Designed and built by DropIn Skateparks in 2022 for the Rural Municipality of Hanover (Maître d'ouvrage), the 5,300 sq ft poured-concrete facility was initiated by a handwritten letter from an 11-year-old local boy to the municipal council. Secured with provincial support through the Building Sustainable Communities Program, the park was constructed over a former baseball diamond site.
Designed to replicate the footprint of a baseball diamond, the layout features an M-shaped large double open bowl, a double spine, a corner bent penny, a quarter bank, flat and round grinding rails, a stair set, and multiple hubba ledges, finished with colored concrete accents.
