Meanwhile Gardens skatepark

Meanwhile Gardens Skatepark is a historic concrete bowl skatepark in North Kensington, West London, located within Meanwhile Gardens on Elkstone Road. The skatepark has been an important part of the local riding scene for decades and is one of the area's longstanding community facilities.

The original skatepark dates back to the 1970s and was community-built as part of the development of Meanwhile Gardens. The facility was subsequently redeveloped, with Bendcrete Skateparks helping create the latest incarnation in the early 2000s. The skatepark was built in 1977 putting Meanwhile Gardens firmly among the earliest generation of skateparks anywhere.

The current layout features three interconnected bowls of different depths, linked by flowing transitions, pump bumps and hips. The sections range from a smaller 3 ft mini-ramp area to deeper bowls of around 5–6 ft, with an 8 ft extensionproviding additional challenges for experienced riders.

The combination of different depths and flowing transitions makes the park suitable for a range of abilities, while retaining the distinctive character of a classic bowl-focused skatepark.

Trucks and Fins is a huge present to the whole skate community - not just for the skating people, but also for shops, builders and schools. Super easy to use and can't believe how complete it is.
