Marck Skatepark is a modern concrete skatepark located next to the Jean-Claude Agneray sports complex on Avenue de Verdun in Marck, near Calais in northern France. The current park was built in 2023 and completed at the end of December, replacing an older skatepark that had been present in Marck since at least 2007.
The project was commissioned by the Mairie de Marck and designed by Antidote Skateparks, with construction carried out by Vulcano Skateparks. Covering approximately 600 m², the park combines flow and street elements in a single concrete layout. The transition section features a double half-bowl with a central spine, an extension with pool-style coping, a volcano and smooth curved walls. The street section includes banks, curves, a rail, ledges, curbs, a pyramid and flat areas, creating a varied layout suitable for skateboarding, BMX, roller and freestyle scooter.
The new park was developed following consultation with local riders, who took part in several meetings during the design process. The municipality described the project as a response to the growing number of skateboard, BMX and scooter users and an effort to provide a safer and more attractive facility.
Marck therefore represents a complete transformation of an older local skate spot into a contemporary concrete skatepark, combining transition and street riding in a compact layout.
