Located at Rua do Oleiro, the Mação skatepark is part of the municipality's Parque Radical, within the Complexo Desportivo do Marco beside Campo de Futebol Agostinho Pereira Carreira.
This is another old Portuguese skate facility, with a confirmed opening date of 1 June 2004. The Municipality of Mação states that the Parque Radical was built with support from Enervento – Energias Renováveis and was designed to accommodate skateboarding, inline skating and BMX, alongside a small children's playground.
The park dates from the early-2000s generation of Portuguese skateparks, when relatively small municipal facilities were being introduced to provide young people with dedicated spaces for wheeled sports. Its age makes it particularly interesting historically, especially as many parks from this period have since disappeared or been replaced.
The facility is modest compared with today's larger concrete parks, but its longevity is notable: more than two decades after opening, Mação still has a skatepark serving the local community.
