The Steel Park Luleå, located in Luleå, Sweden, is one of the most artistically significant facilities in the New Line Skateparks portfolio. The project was born from a visionary concept design by Finnish professional skater and landscape architect Janne Saario, known for his ability to blend industrial heritage with functional skate art.
True to its name, the park is defined by the extensive use of recycled steel sculptures that serve as both aesthetic landmarks and functional skate obstacles. These industrial elements are integrated into a compelling mixture of modern street plaza terrain and a high-performance bowl unit. This "Steel Park" not only provides a world-class riding experience but also pays homage to the region’s industrial identity, making it a unique global destination where sustainability, art, and action sports converge.
