The Saskatoon Lions Skatepark, situated along the city's iconic riverside in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, holds a special place in regional history as the first design-build project in the province by New Line Skateparks. Completed in 2003, the project was a masterclass in engineering, overcoming significant design and construction challenges posed by the area's difficult soil conditions and aggressive heavy freeze-thaw cycles.
To ensure the park's longevity, the team utilized premier materials and innovative concrete molding techniques to sculpt the facility's overall structure. The result is a durable, high-performance space that has served as a cornerstone of the Saskatoon skate community for over two decades. Its strategic riverside location and robust construction continue to make it a vital destination for riders navigating the Saskatchewan action sports circuit.
