The Legazpi Pumptrack is located at Barrio Elbarrena, 916, 20230 Legazpi, Gipuzkoa, Spain (situated in the Urtatza / Elbarrena green recreational area). Commissioned by the Legazpiko Udala / Ayuntamiento de Legazpi (Maître d'ouvrage) to provide a modern wheel sports park for the town, the track was designed and constructed in 2021 by Basque specialist builder PoolSport Soluciones (Zuinbike Parks by PoolSport).
Located right in Legazpi, this historic site features a fully restored 16th-century water-powered iron foundry where live blacksmithing demonstrations take place in traditional Basque working dress, set within scenic green parklands. Legazpi serves as a gateway to the dramatic karst landscapes of the Aizkorri-Aratz mountain range. The nearby trails lead up toward the iconic Arantzazu Sanctuary (Santuario de Arantzazu), a masterpiece of modern Basque avant-garde architecture perched on a steep ravine.
