Kabelvåg Skatepark is a concrete skatepark located at Kabelvåg School in Lofoten, Norway. The park was developed through a strong local initiative led by Vågal Brettklubb, which worked with Vågan Eiendom to create a dedicated concrete facility for children and young people. The project received significant local funding, including NOK 500,000 from SpareBank 1 Nord-Norge's Samfunnsløftet. The approximately 500 m² park was designed as a low-threshold facility for the local skate community and forms part of the new school's wider outdoor activity area. Municipal documentation describes the skate facility as an important part of the school grounds and a positive public-health and community initiative.
The skatepark was established in 2021. Interestingly, the project was not built by Betongpark: the original project documentation states that John Magnusson and Bryggeriet Bygg from Malmö were brought in for the skatepark design and construction. The park officially opened on 11 September 2021.
