The Justice Myron E. Leavitt & Jaycee Skatepark, located in Las Vegas, Nevada, is a 10,000 square foot skatepark built in 2014. It was designed by SITE Design Group and constructed by California Skateparks. The park is part of the larger Justice Myron E. Leavitt & Jaycee Community Park, which includes various recreational facilities, making it a family-friendly destination.
The skatepark is designed as a plaza-style facility, featuring a mix of street and transition elements, such as elongated stair sets, handrails, hubbas, a taco quarter pipe with pool coping, and a large bowl with varying depths. The combination of these features makes it suitable for skaters of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced riders.
The project was funded by the City of Las Vegas as part of their efforts to enhance local recreational spaces. It is open to the public year-round and is free of charge. The park also includes amenities like shaded areas and lighting, allowing for evening sessions. Its modern concrete design, versatile layout, and accessibility have made it a beloved spot for the skateboarding community in Las Vegas.
