Trucks and Fins is a huge present to the whole skate community - not just for the skating people, but also for shops, builders and schools. Super easy to use and can't believe how complete it is.

The Skate- und Bewegungspark Masch, situated at Wasserwerkstraße in 33790 Halle (Westfalen), Germany, is a highly modern, multi-disciplinary outdoor action sports facility. Developed as part of a massive 5-hectare regional sports complex, the dedicated skate and movement park covers roughly 7,000 square meters. The planning phase for the overarching sports park kicked off in 2019, with the groundbreaking ceremony for the rolling sports elements specifically taking place on May 2, 2022. The facility officially celebrated its grand opening with a city festivity on May 22, 2023.
The park was collaboratively conceptualized and constructed by two premier German design firms, Ulenberg Illgas Landschaftsarchitekten and Maier Landschaftsarchitektur (Betonlandschaften). Built entirely out of smooth, low-noise cast-on-site concrete, the facility features a comprehensive street and flow-focused skatepark. The layout is heavily layered with banks, quarter pipes, ledges, and flatbars tailored for skateboarders, inline skaters, and scooter riders. In addition to the main concrete plaza, the facility includes a large asphalt pumptrack and a dedicated smaller kidstrack to encourage progression across different skill levels. Following a successful community crowdfunding initiative led by the local sports club SC Halle 1919 e.V. during the opening phase, a large wooden mini-ramp was also added to the park's transition offerings.
The park is public, free of charge, and accessible year-round. It operates as a vibrant community hub where the local club even runs a "Rollsport Garage" to provide free rental skateboards, BMX bikes, and protective gear to youth. Beyond the skate-specific infrastructure, the sprawling movement park features beach volleyball and beach handball courts, a dedicated parkour course, and a modern calisthenics fitness rig. Extensive spectator stands are integrated directly into the surrounding landscape to naturally bridge the park's elevation changes and accommodate visitors during local skate jams.
