Hainault Skatepark

Hainault Skatepark is a long-standing local skatepark at Forest Road Recreation Ground, at the junction of Elmbridge Road and Forest Road in Hainault. The original facility featured metal ramps on a concrete base, including a near-vertical mini ramp, quarterpipes, flatbanks, a tabletop, ledges and rails, alongside a tarmac BMX pump track. The park had been a popular local facility for more than 20 years.

The original skatepark was closed in 2025 after an independent inspection found the ageing structures unsafe, and the old facility was removed. A completely new concrete skatepark was then commissioned by Redbridge Council, with Betongpark appointed as the specialist design-and-build contractor. The new park was developed through consultation with local skaters and the community and was scheduled to open in spring 2026.

After skating, you can explore Hainault Forest and its woodland trails, or visit nearby Fairlop Waters for walking, watersports and outdoor activities.
