Gol Skatepark is a concrete skatepark located in Gol, Norway, designed around a raised central chill-out area that forms the heart of the park. Betongpark designed and built the skatepark, creating two distinct sections: a transition area and a street section. The layout combines a quarter pipe and China bank with ledges, hubbas, rails, corners and flowing terrain. Different lines connect the street and flow sections, giving the park a progressive layout that can be enjoyed by riders with different styles and abilities. Particular attention was paid to the site's existing landscape. The park was designed around the natural topography and surrounding forest, rather than imposing a conventional rectangular skatepark onto the site. The result is a flowing concrete park that integrates naturally into its surroundings.
