Gjøklep Skatepark is a large cast-in-place concrete street plaza located at Gjøklep Ungdomsskole in Holmestrand, Norway. The project was driven by the local skate community and Martin Vadet, who worked for years with Holmestrand Skateboardklubb to make the park a reality. Betongpark designed and built the concrete skatepark.
The park features an extensive selection of street and transition elements, including quarter pipes with hips, China banks, ledges, stairs, hubbas, manual pads and flat-bar rails. Betongpark describes the manual pad as being inspired by the famous Westchester Skate Plaza in Los Angeles.
The skatepark forms part of the wider Gjøklep activity park and schoolyard, alongside basketball, volleyball, athletics and other facilities. Holmestrand Municipality lists the skatepark as a public neighbourhood facility at Gjøklep Ungdomsskole. The park officially opened in April 2022.
