The Gibbons Skatepark, located in Gibbons, Alberta, is a truly one-of-a-kind facility completed in October 2015. Consistent with the other specialized builds in your directory, this project was designed and constructed by New Line Skateparks and serves as a standout destination on Northern Alberta’s skatepark network.
The park's design is deeply symbolic, paying a creative homage to the Town’s motto, "Rooted in Family." The layout features colored, integral concrete "roots" that extend outward from a central "tree trunk" volcano obstacle. These thematic lines physically and visually connect the diverse street plaza elements and the expansive open bowl area, while thoughtfully wrapping around integrated family viewing zones. By blending high-performance terrain with meaningful community artistry, the Gibbons Skatepark offers an highly inclusive, multi-generational recreation space for riders of all skill levels.
