Trucks and Fins is a huge present to the whole skate community - not just for the skating people, but also for shops, builders and schools. Super easy to use and can't believe how complete it is.

The Gellert Skatepark, located at the Gellert Community Centre in Georgetown, Ontario, is a 9,000-square-foot facility that serves as a premier action sports hub for the Town of Halton Hills. This project was designed and built by New Line Skateparks in 2013 as part of a larger community park expansion. The park was developed to provide a high-performance, permanent concrete landscape that could accommodate the high volume of skateboarders, BMX riders, and scooter users in the Halton region.
The design is a sophisticated "flow-plaza" that emphasizes long, continuous lines and technical variety. It features a versatile transition section with a large open-ended bowl and several quarter pipes of varying heights, which provide the necessary speed to navigate the rest of the park. This area flows directly into a detailed street plaza equipped with granite-capped hubba ledges, a "bump-to-bar" feature, flat rails, and an "A-frame" pyramid. The layout is engineered for a "circular flow," allowing riders to use the perimeter banks to return to the technical street obstacles without losing momentum.
Constructed with high-strength, smooth-troweled concrete, the facility was built to endure Southern Ontario’s intense freeze-thaw cycles while maintaining a fast, quiet riding surface. The design is fully integrated into the Gellert Community Park’s master plan, positioned alongside tennis courts, splash pads, and soccer fields. The site features professional-grade lighting for evening sessions, wide concrete aprons for spectators, and clear sightlines that promote a safe and social atmosphere. Today, the Gellert Skatepark is recognized as one of the best "all-around" parks in the Greater Toronto Area, praised for its technical precision and inclusive layout.
