Trucks and Fins is a huge present to the whole skate community - not just for the skating people, but also for shops, builders and schools. Super easy to use and can't believe how complete it is.

1520 Rock Prairie Road, College Station, Texas 77845, United States of America
SPA Skateparks proudly completed construction of the College Station, Texas Skatepark, officially named the Garrett Hysmith Skatepark, in the summer of 2011. Serving as the specialty skatepark contractor, SPA worked closely with the general contractor to deliver the project on time and within budget, ensuring it was ready for its grand opening on September 3, 2011.
The skatepark was thoughtfully designed with input from local skaters of all skill levels and offers a balanced mix of both street and transition elements. The linear street section includes a range of stair sets, from large to small, complete with handrails, banks, ledges, and various gap features.
A notable highlight is a solid four-inch-thick piece of black granite that caps a manual pad set between a creatively named "sushi dish" and "coin piece" quarter pipe. Throughout the park, skaters will find a variety of cantilevered or “floating” obstacles, as well as dyed and textured concrete that adds both visual interest and improved performance. The transition area is anchored by two distinct bowls. The large downhill flow bowl ranges in depth from four to ten feet and includes a bank wall, spine, extension pocket, fourteen-foot tombstone, and pool coping.
Adjacent to it is a replica swimming pool that ranges from five and a half to eight feet deep, featuring a fully contoured flat bottom, stair entry, traditional tile, and authentic pool coping. The College Station Skatepark stands as a dynamic and high-quality facility, thoughtfully crafted to serve a wide range of skating styles and abilities, and continues to be a beloved community asset.
