Located at 2 Cambridge Avenue, Fairy Meadow, New South Wales 2519, Australia (positioned inside Guest Park at the end of Cambridge Ave/Guest Ave), Fairy Meadow Skatepark is a historical, gritty icon of the Illawarra region.Situated just a few minutes north of Wollongong's city center, this outdoor concrete park is affectionately known by local skaters simply as "Fez."
Originally opened in the mid-1990s, Fairy Meadow holds deep sentimental value for the New South Wales South Coast skate scene. Before concrete skate plazas became standard municipal features across Australia, "Fez" was one of the very few, hardcore skate hubs available down the coast.
