Located beneath the Vasco da Gama Bridge in Lisbon's Parque das Nações, the Expo Pumptrack is one of Portugal's most prominent modern pumptracks. The facility features two asphalt circuits, with a smaller beginner-friendly track alongside a larger pro-level layout designed for riders looking for more speed, height and technical challenge.
The pumptrack was built by Velosolutions in 2020 at a cost of approximately €236,000. Its smooth asphalt surface and flowing design allow riders to generate speed through pumping rather than pedalling, making it suitable for BMX, mountain bikes, skateboards and scooters.
Its location next to the existing Expo Skatepark creates one of Lisbon's strongest concentrations of wheeled-sports facilities. The surrounding area on Rua Chen He also includes street basketball courts and a calisthenics park, forming a sizeable urban sports zone in Parque das Nações.
The pumptrack quickly established itself as a major competition venue. In 2021 it hosted the Red Bull UCI Pump Track World Championship, putting Lisbon on the international pumptrack calendar and attracting elite riders from around the world.

First time I road a pumptrack and I want more!! The pumptrack is amazing and killer view. Thanks for creating this site! It's the perfect tool to find parks and I have been using it during my whole roadtrip from Germany to Portutal. You guys are legends.
We definitely need more tracks like this in Portugal. Super fun, but can get super packed in the weekends, making it difficult to cruise around.
